Tracking first
We agreed what counts as a lead, set up the tracking and made sure each lead could be traced back to the campaign it came from.
Lead generation for an institutional crypto custodian
A regulated custodian for digital assets wanted more qualified leads for its sales team. Its clients are institutional investors, companies and high-net-worth individuals. There was no paid media setup in place: no tracking, no landing pages and no clear funnel. Budget was agreed per quarter for the DACH region and English-speaking Europe.
We were asked to set up and run online marketing: strategy, channels, tracking, landing pages, lead magnets, copy and design, and to coordinate the people involved.
We agreed what counts as a lead, set up the tracking and made sure each lead could be traced back to the campaign it came from.
Campaigns on paid social and Google, aimed at the people who decide on custody at funds and companies. Remarketing brought back visitors who had looked but not enquired.
We came up with content a potential client would leave their details for, and used it in the ads and on the landing pages. It gave the sales team a reason to follow up.
One page for each audience, focused on security and regulation, with a form to request a call.
We worked with the client’s design, content and sales teams, reported on results regularly and kept a testing plan so each quarter’s budget had clear questions to answer.
A lead generation setup the sales team could work with. Leads came in steadily and each one could be traced back to its campaign.
The client kept the setup afterwards: the channel mix, the landing pages, the lead magnets and the tracking. Lead quality mattered more than volume, because onboarding a custody client takes months, so that is what we reported on.
